Refund Policy

We’re proud of our editorial and operations team. Our priority is to maintain a long-term relationship with every brand we work with — so the refund and replacement terms below are designed to be fair across both one-off purchases and ongoing programs.

Authority Placements

For individual placements purchased through the Authority Placements catalog:

• Before the article is written — full refund of the placement fee. Cancel from your dashboard within 7 days of ordering.
• After the article is written but before it goes live — refund of the publisher portion of the fee; the editorial / content portion is non-refundable.
• After the article goes live — no monetary refund once the article has been live for more than 24 hours.
• Editorial replacement — if a published article is taken down or the link is broken within 60 days of going live for reasons not attributable to you, we will replace the placement with a similar-tier publication at no additional cost.

GEO Campaigns

GEO Campaigns are multi-week programs combining audit, placements, and entity optimization. Because work begins immediately on kickoff, refund terms are different from one-off placements:

• Within 7 days of kickoff — pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the campaign, less work already performed (audit and strategy fees are non-refundable once delivered).
• After 7 days — no refund, but you may pause the campaign for up to 30 days or transfer remaining placement credits to a future cycle.
• Placements within a campaign follow the Authority Placements policy above.

AI Visibility Audit

The AI Visibility Audit is delivered immediately by running queries against multiple AI engines and crawling authority surfaces. Because compute and third-party API costs are incurred at the moment the audit runs:

• Free tier — no fee, no refund.
• Paid audit reports — non-refundable once the report has been generated and made available in your dashboard. If the audit failed to deliver due to a system error on our end, we will either re-run the audit or refund in full.

AI Citation Monitoring & subscriptions

• You can cancel a monitoring or subscription plan at any time from your dashboard.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not pro-rate the remainder of the cycle.
• No refunds for partial billing periods, but you keep access to the service until the end of the cycle you’ve paid for.

Content charges

Where a placement or campaign includes editorial content written by GuestPosts (rather than supplied by you), content charges are non-refundable once the article has been written. Refunds, where applicable, will be limited to the publisher placement portion of the fee.

How to request a refund

Email us at contact@guestposts.com with your order ID and a brief description of the issue. We typically respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
